Amanda Porter was born and raised in Wisconsin. She started her college education at the University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Athletic training. She then attended Western Michigan University where she received a Masters of Science degree in Physical education/Athletic training. She worked at the collegiate level as an Athletic trainer for 5 years prior to attending The George Washington University Physician Assistant program graduating in 2013. She has spent time since graduation specializing in orthopedics.
Amanda holds office hours at our Northcliffe location where she sees and treats patients with orthopedic complaints including osteoarthritis, sprains/strains and fractures. In her free time she loves to travel and spend time with her family and friends and dogs Athena and Stella.
