Daniel P. Moynihan, M.D. is a member of Phi Beta Kappa and graduated summa cum laude with departmental honors from Stony Brook University. He completed his medical education at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, New York. After medical school, Dr. Moynihan completed his residency at North Shore Long Island Jewish Medical Center and was elected Resident of the Year by his colleagues.
Following residency, Dr. Moynihan was selected to attend the renowned Southern California Orthopedic Institute in Los Angeles, California, where he earned his fellowship in Arthroscopic and Sports Medicine. Dr. Moynihan’s orthopedic interests include arthroplasty and arthroscopy of the shoulder, knee, hip, and ankle.
He is a member of the American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine, the Arthroscopy Association of North America, and the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. Dr. Moynihan and his wife, Linda, have two sons. They enjoy cycling, fishing, and boating.
